Actually, I’ll grab my laptop too—but you know what I mean. Whether you need vintage inspired save the dates, a full invitation suite with rsvp cards and envelope liners, or a totally unique wedding welcome sign, I’m ready to get sketching!
The good news is, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. I always recommend doing what’s best for your wedding and your guests. A typical range is to send save the dates 6-12 months before your wedding and invitations 3-6 months before your wedding.
The timeline varies based on your wedding details. For example, if you’re having a quaint, local wedding, you won’t need to send invites too far in advance. But if you’re having a destination wedding or most of your guests must travel, send save the dates as soon as possible to give your guests ample time to prepare. Additionally, if you have a very short engagement, it’s perfectly ok to skip save the dates and go straight to invitations instead.
I say the sooner, the better! It’s just me here at tailored tru designs—I don’t outsource projects or have any associate designers—so I can only take on a limited number of events at one time. Design timelines can vary based on the design complexity, printing methods, and production schedules. Reaching out early gives us the best chance to create something thoughtful and beautiful without feeling rushed.
If you’re in the local Fargo, ND area, we can add a delivery service or day-of signage set up to your package, depending on availability. Just let me know during your inquiry, and I’ll do my best to get you on the books!
Absolutely! I offer flexible payment options that can be tailored to your custom package. Just let me know you’re interested when you go through the quoting process. I believe custom design doesn’t have to be out of reach; let’s work with what’s right for you!
